Assessment Study and Techno-Economic
Feasibility Report on Fly Ash Bricks
Manufacturing Project for IFFCO, Phulpur |
| |
|
| |
The captive
thermal power plant of IFFCO currently
generates about 0.16 million tonnes of
ash annually which is expected to reach a
level of 0.2 million tonnes in near
future. About 50% of the ash generated at
present is being utilised for
applications including supply to cement
industries and in agriculture. In order
to enhance ash utilisation, IFFCO is
interested in setting up a state-of-art
fly ash brick manufacturing plant at
Phulpur. The market survey report and
T.E.F.R provided IFFCO with an
independent analysis on market demand,
product quality desired by major
end-users, technical and economic
feasibility of the project, source of
technology, marketing strategy to be
adopted etc., based on which the brick
plant would be set up. |
